Aideen Ryan

I first discovered yoga in the early 90s while I was a student in London. Initially it was the physical aspects that appealed to me but over the years and through the ups and downs of life, I also realised that the physical postures and breath work supported my emotional and mental health.

I completed my teacher training with Marie Quail at the YTTC in 2006 and I’ve learned from wonderful teachers like Donna Fahri, Leslie Kaminoff, Judith Hanson-Laseter, Noeleen Tyrell, Grace Tempany and many others. I’m a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals and while I have certainly increased my knowledge over the years, I remain a humble student.

Based back at home in Mayo, along the Wild Atlantic Way, I teach regular flow yoga classes, special needs classes and classes for seniors, children and teenagers. Yoga is a simple but amazing tool that has been my salve and sustenance for more than 30 years, I hope I can help guide you to reap the benefits too.
