IN PERSON AND ONLINE CLASSES
Yin to the Leaba (Irish for bed) is a nourishing Yin Yoga practice that will guide you into simply being. That doesn't mean it's a simple practice. Yin yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians, contrasting with a Yang yoga practice which targets the muscles.
A warming morning flow targeting muscular energy followed by a short relaxation. A perfect start to the weekend
Yoga for Schools
I’m a certified Rainbow Kids Yoga teacher and I’ve been bringing Yoga to Primary and Secondary schools in Mayo since 2008.
Yoga is a fun way for children to develop a variety of important skills in a nurturing and non-competitive environment. It can be a great remedy for the tension associated with daily stressors as well as being a way to develop healthy physical, emotional and cognitive development.
